To close your Oxygen account using the Oxygen app:
Go to “More” > “Settings” > “Close account.”
Select the account(s) you would like to close, and tap “Continue.”
You'll receive a pop-up window to confirm the changes. Tap “Close.”
There’s money left in my closed account
If you closed your account with funds left in your account, a refund check will be sent in the amount of the balance remaining from the closed account by The Bankcorp Bank, N.A. on or before April 5, 2024.
If you have both a business and personal account, you will receive two separate checks for each account.
What if I have a dispute open?
If a refund is received or a claim is submitted and/or resolved in your favor after March
29, 2024, and a check for the available balance was already sent to you, a separate check representing the value of the refund or favorably resolved claim will be mailed to you by The Bankcorp Bank, N.A.
Can I download bank statements from my closed account?
Unfortunately, you cannot access your bank statements from a closed account. If you need a bank statement from your closed account, please contact customer support at 866-287-7021, support@oxygen.us, or chat with us on the mobile or web app.
Can I download my invoices and other important documents from a closed business account?
You will not be able to access your invoices or other documents once your account is closed. But your information will be available for 5 years as per law.
