You were previously notified that all services in connection to your Oxygen Savings Account would be discontinued on March 21, 2024; however, the new effective date is March 26th, 2024. This means that on March 26th, 2024 your Savings Account will be closed, and you will no longer be able to deposit funds into your Oxygen Savings Account. The balance remaining in your Savings Account, including interest earned through March 26th, will be transferred to your Oxygen Deposit Account on March 28th, 2024.

Is my money safe with Oxygen?

Yes, your funds are secure with Oxygen. You'll have continued access to your account until 3/29/24, and any remaining balance will be returned to you via check by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. within 45 days of Mar 29, 2024.

How will I receive communication regarding my account closure?

We'll keep you informed via email and push notification about the progress and any necessary actions regarding your account closure. Be sure to check your email regularly for updates.

​What if I have a pending dispute or claim?

If a claim is submitted and/or resolved in your favor after March 29, 2024, and a check for the available balance was already sent to you, The Bancorp Bank, N.A. will send a separate check representing the value of the favorably resolved claim.

What if I had a deposit set up for tax refunds?

If you have a tax refund due on March 15, 2024 your account will be available to receive the deposit. If you have recurring deposit activity, you must make arrangements with the payer to stop the deposits from posting to your account as soon as possible before March 28, 2024. Any recurring deposits sent to the account on or after March 29, 2024, will be rejected and returned to the payer.

What if I had a deposit set up for my pay check or student or financial loans?

What happens to my information, will it be deleted?

We will maintain customer information for 5 years from account closure as required by law.

What if I do not close my account or transfer funds?

If you do not have time to close the account or transfer funds The Bancorp Bank, N.A. will send the checks for any pending amounts to the address on record within 45 days of the closing date on 3/29/24

What actions do I need to take regarding my Oxygen account?

Here is a timeline of the main events you should be aware off:

ACH deposits and ability to fund accounts will be removed after 3/16/24

Action: Tax refunds for 3/15 will be available in your account. For any direct or recurring deposit set up to your Oxygen account after 3/16 please have them updated.

Virtual cards will be deactivated after 3/16/24

Action: Change any recurring payments on virtual cards to an external account

All pending rewards will be moved to your deposit account on or before 3/21/24. Subscription tiers will be prorated. If you paid an Annual Fee on or after March 8, 2023, your account will be credited a prorated amount of the annual fee on or before March 22, 2024.

Action: Press “cash out” on your Total Rewards Account to access funds earlier

Savings accounts will be closed on 3/26/24 and all funds with interest accrued will move to your deposit account on 3/28.

Action: Close your savings account before 3/26/24 and transfer all funds for faster access to your money to an external account of your choice. Any payments due will be sent via check within 45 days of the closing date on 3/29/24 by the Bancorp Bank, N.A.

Debit cards will be closed for spend on 3/28/24

Action: Spend all funds in your account or transfer them to an external account of your choice. Any payments due will be sent via check to the address on record within 45 days of the closing date on 3/29/24 by the Bancorp Bank, N.A..

All deposit accounts will be closed on 3/29/24 so move your funds
