You can deposit a check into your Oxygen account using the Ingo check deposit feature from your Oxygen app as long as you have an active Oxygen Visa Debit Card.
Step 1: Go to 'More tab in the app
To deposit a check from the Oxygen app, choose “More” > “Cash a check\Scan a check.”
This will connect you with Ingo’s check deposit feature home page.
Step 2: Follow the prompts
a. Scan a clear photo of both the front and back of the check you’re depositing and enter the amount of the check.
b. You may choose to deposit your check for free at the standard 10 business days, or you may deposit your check within minutes to access those funds immediately for a small fee (The standard fee is 2% of the check amount for payroll and government checks with a pre-printed signature, and 5% for all other accepted checks. The minimum fee is $5 per check.).
You can deposit most types of government, payroll, personal, and other checks into your Oxygen account for review and approval.
All checks must:
Have the check writer’s name and address preprinted on the check
Be dated on or before the date you submit the check
Match the name on your account
Have matching numbers in the two amount lines
Be signed by the check writer
Be endorsed by you (Your name (endorsement) must match the name from the payee line on the front of the check.)
Ingo generally does not accept:
Credit card checks
Traveler’s checks
“Starter checks” or other checks that do not have the check writer’s name and address preprinted on the check
U.S. Savings Bonds
Checks from accounts located outside of the United States or payable in currency other than U.S. dollars
Checks you have written to yourself
What if I have issues depositing a check?
If you have any issues depositing a check using Ingo mobile check deposit, we kindly suggest that you get in touch with our partner, Ingo. Does Oxygen offer physical checkbooks?
Oxygen doesn’t offer physical checkbooks at this time; however, you can pay bills by check using our bill pay feature.
