There are seven ways to add money to your Oxygen account:
1. Adding funds to your account using direct deposit:
You have three options (A,B,C below) for transferring funds into your account using direct deposit: direct deposit using Pinwheel, direct deposit form, or direct deposit via the employer portal.
A. Direct deposit via Pinwheel:
To deposit money into your Oxygen account using Pinwheel, log in to your account and go to “Overview,” then “Add funds” > “Direct deposit.”
Pinwheel is only available for Oxygen personal accounts. Pinwheel is not available for business accounts at this time.
If you’re adding your paycheck to your Oxygen account for the first time:
Tap the “Find employer” button. You will be directed to use your employer or income provider’s specific payroll login information to set up your direct deposit automatically (They must provide you with this information.).
Choose “Full paycheck” or “Part” based on your preferences.
Edit as needed, and tap “Confirm.”
Once your employer or income provider processes the change, your direct deposit might still take one to two payroll cycles to take effect.
Finding your payroll provider
To search for a payroll provider, use the search bar or choose from the list of popular providers.
If your payroll provider is unavailable or you’re having trouble logging in, choose the “Manual form” button, and then enter your payroll provider’s name. Choose between “Full paycheck” or “Part,” then tap “Proceed to signature.” Turn your phone sideways, sign and tap “Confirm.” Choose “Share or print” to send it to your payroll provider.
Editing your direct deposit information
Under “Overview,” go to “Add funds” > “Direct deposit” > “Manage employers” to adjust your direct deposit settings.
Deleting a direct deposit
If you need to delete your payroll information, go to “Overview” > “Add funds” > “Direct deposit.” Tap the three dots in the right hand corner and choose “Delete."
B. Direct deposit form:
To deposit money to your Oxygen account using a direct deposit form:
Choose “More” > “Direct deposit.”
Select “Create a new form”
Tap “Add employers name.”
Then, you will choose either “Full paycheck” or “Part”
Finally, choose “Proceed to signature” > “Sign your name,” and tap “Confirm” to complete.
This form can be shared with your employer or income provider to deposit your paycheck into your Oxygen account.
C. Direct deposit via employer portal:
To deposit money into your Oxygen account using an employer portal, you’ll need your routing and account numbers. You can find your routing and account numbers in the Oxygen app by going to “More” > “Account numbers.”
Input your Oxygen routing and account numbers directly into your employer’s payroll software. You should receive the funds in your account at the time of your next paycheck or after your employer processes your request.
2. Adding funds to your account using payment apps such as Paypal, Venmo and Cash app:
To add money to your Oxygen account using a payment app, you’ll need your routing and account numbers or your Oxygen Visa® Debit Card.
You can find your routing and account numbers by going to “More” > “Account numbers.” To find your Oxygen Visa Debit Card information, select “More” > “Cards” in your account.
Next, log in to the payment app of your choice and find the payment methods option. Add your Oxygen bank routing and account numbers or your 16-digit Oxygen Visa® Debit Card primary account number (PAN).
Follow the recommended steps in the payment app to connect your information. Once connected, you should be able to create a funds transfer from the payment app to your Oxygen account.
Please note that some external bank accounts may perform a penny test as an additional security measure. A penny test is when your bank provider sends a small and specific amount of money to your Oxygen account. You will then have to confirm the correct amount your bank transferred before you may transfer the entire desired amount into your account. This might affect the arrival time of your direct deposit.
3. Adding funds to your account using Green Dot®:
To add money to your Oxygen account using Green Dot cash deposit, please visit a designated Green Dot location.
You must bring cash in the amount you would like to deposit with you, along with your Oxygen Visa Debit Card. The agent at the Green Dot location will deposit your cash into your account. Please note that you may be asked to enter the PIN number for your Oxygen Visa Debit Card.
To use Green Dot, there is a transfer fee of $4.95 per transaction, along with the following limitations:

You can also send a wire transfer from your external bank account or preferred money transfer service to your Oxygen account. You will need your Oxygen account and routing numbers, which can be found by going to “More” > “Account numbers.”
Please note that wire fees apply. See more about fees here in our help article Daily Limits, Fees and Authorization Timeframes.
5. Adding funds to your account using mobile check deposit:
Through the Ingo check deposit feature, you can deposit checks into your account using the Oxygen app as long as you have an active Oxygen Visa Debit Card.
Depositing a check into your Oxygen account
To deposit a check from the Oxygen app, choose “More” > “Cash a check\Scan a check.”
This will connect you with Ingo’s check deposit feature home page. Follow the prompts by scanning a clear photo of both the front and back of the check you’re depositing and enter the amount of the check.
You may choose to deposit your check for free at the standard 10 business days, or you may deposit your check within minutes to access those funds immediately for a small fee. The standard fee is 2% of the check amount for payroll and government checks with a pre-printed signature and 5% for all other accepted checks. The minimum fee is $5 per check.
6. Adding funds to your account using external funds transfers from another bank account:
You can use your Oxygen account and routing numbers to initiate a funds transfer from an external bank account. The external bank account must be in your name.
You will need to enter your Oxygen account and routing numbers into your external bank account. You can find these numbers in your account under “More” > “Account numbers.”
